Create a greeting card for any celebration such as Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation etc. The size of the greeting card should be A4 (one side the picture, the other side the greeting). The images used in the greeting card MUST BE ORIGINAL and NOT CUT and PASTE. The greetings (wordings) has to be original as well.
Submission requirements:
(1) Size of the greeting card - A4 size but half of the A4 is for the image and the other half is for the greeting
(2) The images must be original and not copied or cut and paste. Greeting or the wordings must be original too.
(3) Your final card should be name studID_card.psd. You must include layers in your file and DO NOT FLATTEN the image. The student name, ID and Group must also appear inside the document. Marks will be deducted if you do not enter your name, group and ID properly.
(4) You are to print the Greeting card and mount it on a A3 mounting board.The board should contain your stud name, ID and group and indicate which is the original and the final image.
(5) No marks will be given to the assignment if there is no accompanyingdetailed documentation which is your blog (see below).
(6) Submit to your assigned tutorial group on Week 7 (07/12/09) and appropriate group leader only in your tutorial session on . Late submissions will not be entertained.

Blogs for detailed documentation:
Students are required to document the reason and making of the greeting card: The documentation will be done in blogs and it must:
(1) Include the idea of the greeting card
(2) Include designs, sketches, references or images that you use to create your greeting card, tools that you used and the final output.
(3) The documentation should be a blog. No blog, no marks will be given as documentation will be prove that you did the assignment.
All class submission guidelines must be followed. Not following these requirements will mean a reduction in your marks in this exercise. Any copying or similar symbols may result in the students getting an automatic "0" mark.
Criteria for marking:
(1) Use of the tools - the proper and creative use of the tools
(2) Design of the graphics
(3) Write-up and documentation must be in proper English.
(4) Quality of the printing and display.
(5) Detail description of the process on blog.
(6) Quality of images/text.
